Chloe Snashall: another rising star in the RC racing world.

At just 12 years old, Chloe Snashall from Eastbourne in East Sussex is already making a name for herself in the world of RC racing. This young talent has quickly become a rising star in the racing community, and she is one of the many young racers who are shaping the future of the sport.

Chloe got her start in RC racing when she received her first car for Christmas in 2021, and she quickly fell in love with the thrills of driving and racing. She practices as much as she can and is always looking to improve her skills, and her quiet determination and drive are truly inspiring. Her local club, Eastbourne, runs race nights every Wednesday, and Chloe can be found working to improve her skills most weeks.

One of Chloe's proudest moments so far has been getting her fastest lap time of 18 seconds at Eastbourne Electric Car Club, a benchmark at the track, and she is also rightly proud of her 4th place finish in the Junior-E championship last year at KOC. Chloe is a great example of a young racer who combines focus with fun, determination, and passion for the sport.

In addition to her love for RC racing, Chloe is also a talented inline skater and dancer, and she enjoys baking in her free time. Her passions and interests outside of racing are a reminder of the importance of maintaining a well-rounded life, and her dedication to her hobbies is a testament to her drive and determination.

RC racing legends like World Champion Bruno Coelho and female factory star Harley Eldridge are the role models Chloe looks up to. She is also motivated by her family, who serve as role models and mentors closer to home. Chloe's drive and determination to succeed is reminiscent of many other young sporting stars like Dina Asher-Smith and Johanna Konta, focused and determined at game time, but relaxed and light-hearted outside their sports.

Chloe's future goals and aspirations in the RC racing world include competing in the Frontie class and being recognised as a successful girl racer. Which, as the success of Asher-Smith and Konta suggests, are modest goals for a young woman with Chloe’s ability.  Another parallel, however, is how Chloe sees the future of RC racing; as inclusive and diverse, where anyone can take part and succeed, regardless of their background or experience.

Chloe Snashall is another rising star in the RC racing world, and with her passion, drive, and love for the sport, she is one to watch in the years to come. Follow along with The Young and The Fast series as we uncover the stories of the rising RC stars and see what the future of RC racing has in store.
